We are married!
Mike and I were married on
April 10th, 1999. We had a wonderful time a beautiful day. We praise God for great
weather!
Stacey Branham flew from
Geremany to be my maid of honor and Mike's best friend from high school Steve was the best
man. My younger brother, Sterling(3), did a great job serving as the ringbearer.
Check out the little stud!
Rachel Camp, my cousin, was the flower girl. She did an excellent job.
Scott Patty and Dane Anthony
performed the ceremony. Mike and I actually enjoyed writing the our own vows and most of
the ceremony. Having the wedding outside freed us up to do some different things.
One of the different elements
was the water vase. We took a North American tradition of pouring water from two seperate
flasks into one vase with two openings. It symbolizes the circle of life as two people
become one.
For music we had a classical
guitarist play some favorite wedding songs.
You can visit the Belmont University site to see the campus. The ceremony
was outside on the grounds with the reception following in Neely Dining room. Lynda Ryan,
former Acteens leader, made the spectacular wedding cake. People have told me that the
food was good and looked pretty, but honestly I did not get to see it until later that
night in the take home box.
Please be patient while the
